Position Overview

The Territory Account Manager job will be to develop and maintain customer relations within their given geographic territory as it pertains to bar coding, data collection, printing, media and service needs. These responsibilities include cold calling, working with existing company accounts, and working with manufacturer’s sales representatives to identify new markets and solutions that will satisfy the needs of the customer as well as meet the goals of Ideal Print Solutions. This position will be an integral part in developing and fine tuning our product and service offers as well as our marketing strategy.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Cold calling in order to create interest in products and services and generate new business leads
  • Developing and maintaining relationship with customers via meetings, telephone calls, emails and webinars
  • Visiting potential customers to prospect new business
  • Determine customer needs and expectations in order to best position products and solutions
  • Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Liaising with suppliers to check on the progress of existing orders
  • Keep management informed by submitting activities and results reports such as daily calls, quotes, and account opportunities that are logged into Salesforce.com
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Resolve customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing solution report within Salesforce.com and making a recommendation
